Obituary for Karleen Krebs "Beaner" Ianaro
Karleen Krebs “Beaner” Ianaro, 69, of Clearfield, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born July 27, 1949 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Madeline A. (Turner) Krebs. She was a 1967 graduate of Clearfield Area High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania (Lock Haven State College). She was affiliated with the West Side United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ianaro was a school teacher in the Huntington Area School District for 2 years, then an employee of the Central Intermediate Unit #10 (West Decatur) where she taught special education for the Clearfield Area School District. She retired after 33 years of teaching.
She is survived by her husband, Carmine Ianaro, whom she married on June 24, 1983. She is also survived by her son Robert E. Krebs II and family, wife Sandra D. and granddaughter Lauren A. of Pittsburgh; son Curtis E. Ianaro, former daughter-in-law Sarah E. McDonald, granddaughter Locklyn E., and grandson Fox E. of Clearfield. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Kathleen A. Mapes of Clearfield and Mary Ann Condon, husband William, of Hyde.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, David L. Krebs.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12:00pm until 2:00pm to be followed immediately by a “Celebration of Life” Service.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 South Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
