Obituary for Kathleen Elizabeth Harris
Kathleen Elizabeth Harris, 71, of Hepburnia, passed away Tuesday September 11, 2012 at the home of her daughter Carolyn Bryan.
 
Born April 24, 1941 in Carnwath, she was the daughter of John and Faye (Hunt) Litzinger.  Mrs. Harris was a caregiver and a homemaker, was a member of the Mormon Church in Philipsburg and a member of the Red Hats of the Henry Meyers Towers in Clearfield.
 
Surviving are 4 children: Debra Darlene Harris of Clearfield, James Harris Jr. and wife Amy of Olanta, Carolyn D. Bryan and husband Troy of Grampian, and William Scott Harris and wife Gladys of Curwensville.  Also surviving are 4 step children Judy Wertz and husband Dave and William Gray both of Altoona, Thomas Gray of Osceola Mills and Randy Gray of Maryland.
 
In addition she is survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, and the following brothers and sister.  John Litzinger of New Millport, Jean Ogden and husband Richard of Clearfield, and Larry Saltzgiver and wife Helen of Patton.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carl and Joseph Litzinger, a sister Carol Lansberry, and her companion Thomas Gray.
 
Funeral Services for Mrs. Harris will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Friday September 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM, with Mr. Robert Morrison officiating.  Interment will be in the Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood, PA
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday September 13 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Friday from 10 AM until time of services.
 
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
