Obituary for Kathryn Caldwell
Kathryn Caldwell, 88, of new Millport, passed away Sunday April 26, 2009 at the Clearfield Hospital. Born April 5, 1921 In Stronach, she was the daughter of John “Jack” and Mary (Kovanovich) Adnisky. Mrs. Caldwell was a homemaker, and attended the Oak Ridge Union Church in Carnwath.On June 17, 1946 in Clearfield, she wed Mark Alexander Caldwell who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael E. Brown, sisters Teresa Hepfer, Mary Adnisky, Julia Elenski, and Ann Hand, and brothers Michael and Peter Adnisky. She was the last member of her generation.Surviving are 8 sons and daughters: James Caldwell and significant other Martha McGee of Woodland, Allen Brown of Florida, Donna Mae Ross and husband Charles and David Lee Caldwell and wife Barbara both of Curwensville, Joyce Ann Fontenoy and husband Richard and Mark A. Caldwell Jr. and wife Barbara both of New Millport, Kathy B. Smith and husband Ronald of Kansas City, MO, Brenda L. Gallaher and husband John of Harrisburg and a daughter-in-law Tina M. Brown of West Seneca, NY.Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.Funeral Services for Mrs. Caldwell will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday May 1, 2009 at 3:00 PM, with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Thompsontown, PAFriends will be received at the funeral home, on Thursday April 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, and Friday from 12:00 Noon until time of services.The family suggest contributions be made to the American Cancer Society 26 S. 2nd St. Clearfield, PA 16830.On-line condolences may be made to the family by going to www.chidboyfuneralhome.com – obituaries.The Chester C.
