Obituary for Kathy Palmer Gillen
Kathy Palmer Gillen, 52, of Curwensville, passed away Saturday evening February 19, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born October 23, 1958 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Ralph and Beverly B. (Kavelak) Palmer. Mrs. Gillen was a homemaker.
On August 14, 1995 she wed Randy Gillen who survives along with 6 children: Martin Collins, Eric Gillen and Raquel Gillen all of Curwensville, Ryan Collins of Loch Haven, Aaron Collins and his fiancée Julie Yoder and Randy Gillen Jr. both of Clearfield.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers Ralph Palmer Jr. and Kurt Palmer and wife Kathy both of Curwensville and Barbara J. “BJ” Billotte and husband Mark of Cincinnati, Ohio as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Jed Collins.
Memorial Funeral Services for Mrs. Gillen will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Friday evening February 25, 2011 at 8:00 PM, with the Reverend John F. White officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
