Obituary for Kenneth A. Levine Sr.
Kenneth A. Levine Sr., 81, of Olanta passed away Sunday April 17, 2016 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
 
Born August 26, 1934 in Olanta, he was the son of David and Mary (Bloom) Levine.  Mr. Levine had first worked in the lumbering business and then had worked for and retired from the former Howes Leather Co. in Curwensville, was a US Army Veteran during the Korean War Era, and was a former member of the Curwensville L.O.O.M.
 
In April of 1957 he wed the former Catherine L. Luzier who preceded him in death on August 20, 1988.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, a son Kenneth A. Levine Jr., four brothers Robert, David “Nooks”, James and William Levine and a sister Olga Marie Erhard.  He was the last member of his generation.
 
Surviving are two children Carol Dotts and husband Joseph and David Levine and wife Jackie both of Olanta, six grandchildren Joseph Jr., Jason, Brandy, Chuck, Nathan and Nicole, and 15 great grandchildren.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Levine will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday April 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating.  Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery Curwensville.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday April 21 from 5 to 8 PM and again on Friday from 10 Am until time of services at 11 AM.
