Larry S. Seger
Punxsutawney: Larry S. Seger, 86, of Curwensville passed away Wednesday October 15, 2025 at Punxsutawney Hospital after a brief illness.
Born June 4, 1939 in Lumber City, he was the son of Alfred M. and Ruth E. (Spencer) Seger. He had worked at Hepburnia Coal Company as a Foreman for 20 plus years. He also worked construction working on the construction of the Wal Mart Distribution Center and Walmart Store in Clearfield.
Larry was a member of the Grampian Lions Club, Chestnut Grove Sportsman, and Susquehanna Antique Machinery Club. He loved gardening and attending to his garden. Also enjoyed target shooting, and competed in target competitions.
He is survived by his wife Enola McClincey whom he wed on October 14, 2000. Also surviving is a daughter Brenda S. Koval (Stephen) of Clearfield. Two step children Kathy A. Johnston-Keane (Chris) of Pittsburgh, and Scott E. McClincey (Elaine) of Virginia. Two grandchildren Tiffanie Erin Cortazzo (Joe) of State College and Stephen Eric Koval of Clearfield. Three step grandchildren Ember R. Keane, Camron and Connor McClincey. And 3 great grandchildren Adelyn Koval, Avery and Baylee Cortazzo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Richard A. Seger and Kevin L. Seger. And a brother Frederick Seger.
Funeral Services for Mr. Seger will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at 1 PM with Mr. Gary Jewart officiating. Interment will be held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Olanta.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM on Wednesday October 22, 2025.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield SPCA 275 21st St. Clearfield, PA 16830.
