Lelia Maude Rowles, 68, of Olanta, passed away Friday March 6, 2015 at her residence.

Born October 11, 1946 in Pike Township, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of Franklin Boyd and Sara Elsie (Kline) Rowles. Lelia had first worked for the former Whitman’s Drug Store and later had worked for the former Leitzinger’s Department Store, in Clearfield, until her retirement.

Surviving is a brother Raymond Boyd Rowles and wife Mary of Brockport as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Catherine Gearhart, Dorothy Rowles and Alberta Nelson, and 3 brothers LeRoy, Bruce, and Perry Rowles.

Funeral Services for Miss Rowles will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville RD.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday March 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and again on Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of services.
