Lois P. Riddle
Curwensville: Lois P. Riddle 93, of Curwensville passed away Saturday January 20, 2024 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness.
Born August 1, 1930 in Punxsutawney, PA she was the daughter of Howard D. and Pearl (Black) Cramer. She had worked for the Clearfield Cheese Co. for 8 years and retired from North American Refractories in 1989 after 32 years of service where she worked in the office.
She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church and the Mizpah S.S. class. She was a past board member of the Oak Hill Cemetery, and Curwensville Women’s Club where she was a past president.
On August 28, 1948 in Curwensville she wed Robert E. “Chief” Riddle who preceded her in death on September 1, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Brenda (Riddle) Proud. And a brother Howard D. Cramer Jr.
She is survived by her son-in-law Glenn Proud of Curwensville, 2 grandsons Erik Proud (Charis), and Jason Proud (Stacie) all of Curwensville. Great Grandchildren Colby and Caleb Proud, Gage and Gavin Roos, and Addlyn Proud.
There will be no public visitation Funeral Services will be private for the family. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
