Obituary for Mable Olive Peoples
Mable Olive Peoples, 77, of Clearfield, passed away Monday January 24, 2011 at her residence, after a lengthy illness.
Born January 24, 1934 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of William and Olive (London) Meyers. Mrs. Peoples was retired from Marion Manor Personal Care Homes of Curwensville and prior to that had been employed by the former Leitzinger’s Department Store in Clearfield. She was a member of the Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
On January 3, 1953 in Clearfield, she wed Lee Peoples Jr. who preceded her in death on March 9, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother John William Meyers and a sister Mildred Panasitti.Â
Surviving are 2 children Ashley Bryan Peoples and his wife Jaime of Clearfield and a daughter Nancy Keller and husband Alan of Alexandria, VA. Also surviving is a sister Velma Fleming of Stronach.
At the request of Mrs. Peoples there will be no public visitation, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance Church 45 Alliance Road Clearfield, PA 16830 or the Orphans of the Storm c/o 412 Hill St. Curwensville, PA 16833.
