Obituary for Margaret Ann Harzinski
Margaret Ann Harzinski, 89, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday morning May 1, 2018 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born February 4, 1929 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Oscar and Caroline (Kupko) Sutika. Mrs. Harzinski had worked for the former Ames Department Store in Clearfield as a Customer Service Representative. She was a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville where she also was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
On August 21, 1948 in Curwensville, she wed Raymond George Harzinski who preceded her in death on May 15, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Joseph Lash and five brothers: Andrew, Frank, John, Henry and Oscar “Sonny” Sutika. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are four children: Karen Rogers and husband Harry “Zip” of Paoli, PA, JoAnn Wills and husband Bob of Curwensville and Susan Sherick and husband Frank and Raymond Steven Harzinski and wife Jodi both of Clearfield. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
At the request of Mrs. Harzinski there will be no public visitation.
A Private Family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville at a later date. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Clearfield County S.P.C.A. 275 21st Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
