Obituary for Margaret Ethel "Peg" Kelly
Margaret Ethel “Peg” (Clark) Kelly, 92, of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday evening June 9, 2021 at Penn Highlands Hospital-DuBois.
Born November 19, 1928 in Erhard to Russell and Jennie Naomi (Wallace) Clark. “Peg” had worked at the former Kantar’s Store, the former Sewtex Panty Factory, and the former MacGregor and Target Sportwear.
She was always a very upbeat person, with a positive outlook on everything; was a very loving Mother, Nanny, Nan-Nan/Nan-Na to her family. Everyone said she was the nicest person, and she was! She always said she was blessed.
She is survived by a son Max (Bonnie) Kelly and a daughter Vonda (Edward) Visnofsky; two sisters: Lillian (Gerald) Fye and Mary Villalva; two brothers: Harvey Clark and Kenneth (Pam) Clark; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William Max “Nub” Kelly whom she wed on October 26, 1946 and preceded her on July 30, 1985. She was also preceded in death by a son Charles Russell “Chuck” Kelly and a brother Russell Clark Jr.
At the request of “Peg” there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville United Methodist Church * 602 State Street * Curwensville, PA 16833.
