Obituary for Margaret Notor
Margaret Notor, 99, of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday June 3, 2009 at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born March 3, 1910 in Glen Richey, she was the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Georgic) Panko. Mrs. Notor was retired from MacGregor Sportswear after 52 years of service. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.

In 1925, she wed Frank Francis Notor who preceded her in death on December 14, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Ronald Notor, a grandson Franklin Norris, and sisters Ethel, Annie, and Helen. She was the last member of her generation.

Surviving is a daughter Mary Helen Norris and her husband Robert of Curwensville, 3 grandchildren Robert Norris Jr. of Hebron, OH, Jacque Norris of Curwensville, and Richard Norris of Bradenton, FL., 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville on Friday June 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM, with the Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery of Clearfield, PA.

Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
