Dubois: Marie F. Stott, 80 of Curwensville passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the Dubois Nursing Home.

Born April 27, 1935 in Berwinsdale, PA she was the daughter of Glenn and Jennie (Hunter) Rowles. She previously worked for Shortway Products, and Superior Pet.
Â
She was a former member of the VFW auxiliary. She was also an avid bowler participating in numerous leagues at the Clearfield Lanes.

She is survived by 3 children Dale Stott and his wife Jennifer of Kissimmee, FL, Susan Cathcart and her husband Randy of Clarion, and Lee Stott and his wife Sharon of Grampian. 4 grandchidlren Cory Cathcart, Kyle Cathcart, Aaron Stott, and Breanna Stott. A great granddaughter Mackenzie Stott. 2 brothers Terry Rowles and his wife Carole and Floyd Rowles and his wife Maxine all of Olanta.

On March 27, 1953 at Mt. Zion U.M.C. she wed Robert Stott who preceded her in death in November 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

At the request of Mrs. Stott there will be no visitation and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
