Obituary for Marie H. Snyder
Marie H. Snyder, 69, of Grampian, passed away Monday August 5, 2019 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born April 18, 1950 in Mountaindale, PA, she was the daughter of David and Lucy (Wiley) Hollabaugh. Mrs. Snyder was retired from PennDot District 2 office as a Clerical Supervisor after 35 years of service.
She was a member of the Curwensville Alliance Church and was a member of the Eastern Star #260. She loved attending church and seeing all of the people there.
On June 9, 1992 she wed James “Huck” Snyder who survives along with a son Michael David Hollabaugh and wife Melissa of Grampian and a sister Jean DeAngelo and husband Maro of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Charlotte Lundquist.
Funeral Services for Marie Snyder will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Stephen D. Shields officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday August 12 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the Orphans of the Storm 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PA 16833 or the Clearfield County S.P.C.A. 275 21st Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
