Obituary for Marion E. Lines
Marion E. Lines, 93, of Grampian, passed away Thursday September 28, 2017 at Ridge Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
Born September 24, 1924 in Mahaffey, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Gladys (Vite) Hepburn. Marion had been a supervisor at the former Kent’s Sportswear in Curwensville and prior to that had been employed at the former parachute factory in Curwensville. She had attended the Curry Run United Methodist Church.
On September 10, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY, she wed William Otis Lines who preceded her in death on October 25, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister Ruth Auden.
Surviving are two daughters Donna Jean Palmer and Cheryll A. “Sherry” Bloom and husband John both of Grampian, three grandchildren Amy Sue Poorman, William Bowman and Stacey Best, 4 great grandchildren Andrew John Rowles, Jaci Best, Cooper Bowman and Jacob Bowman, a great great granddaughter Zada Rowles and a brother John “Jack” Hepburn of Clearfield.
Ate the request of Mrs. Lines there will be no public visitation.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville with the Reverend M. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery of Grampian.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Curwensville Public Library 601 Beech Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
