Mark A. Hale
DuBois: Mark A. Hale 51, of Glen Richey passed away Tuesday January 27, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois after a brief illness.
Born December 29, 1974 in Dalton, GA he was the son of Creighton B. and Mona (Kanouff) Hale. He was a 1993 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. He was a Truck Driver and Mechanic. He recently worked for Russell Stone Products.
He enjoyed working on things, “he was a jack of all trades and a master of none.”
He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was protestant by faith.
On June 16, 2016 he wed Amanda Wisor Hale who survives of Glen Richey along with his mother Mona Hale of Curwensville, four children: Jason Capistrant of El Paso, TX, Gage Hale of Woodland, PA, Felicia Carter of Hyde, PA, and Avery Williams of Glen Richey, PA. Six grandchildren Colton Carter, Hadassah Capistrant, Ivy Luzier, Blair Brady, Harlow Smeal, Delilah Hale. Two sisters Jody Socash of Ingleside, TX, Lori Anne Cutler, of Curwensville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Family and friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday January 31, 2026 from 1-3 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in care of Marks mother Mona Hale, 300 State Street, Curwensville, PA 16833.
