Obituary for Mark Allen Osborn
Mark Allen Osborn, 77, of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday February 3, 2021 at Knickerbocker Villa in Clearfield after a lengthy illness.
Born September 9, 1943 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of Walton and Margaret (McKinley) Osborn. He was employed by PennDOT as a Highway Inspector and was retired as the District 2 Maintenance Coordinator. He was a US Naval Veteran of Vietnam.
He was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, loved racing especially NASCAR, enjoyed walking, enjoyed traveling and going on cruises, and enjoyed doing yardwork.
On December 18, 1971 in Clearfield, he wed the former Janet Lewis who survives along with a son Joseph Osborn and wife Carrie of DuBois; four grandchildren Chris, Nick, Landan, and Lydia; two brothers Thomas Osborn of Warren and James Osborn of Concord, MA; and a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Dishong of Antrim, NH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kevin Osborn and a brother John Walton Osborn.
There will be no public visitation.
Private family visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, with the Reverend Dr. Robert Ludrowsky officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville.
