Obituary for Marlene Harriet Rowles
Marlene Harriet Rowles, 78, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017 at her residence.
Born July 24, 1938 in Wallaceton, she was the daughter of William Edward and Mary Eva (Hull) Good. Mrs. Rowles was a homemaker and was protestant by faith. She was a former member of the Clearfield Eagles, the Clearfield L.O.O.M., the Clearfield American Legion and the Clearfield VFW.
On August 16, 1958 in Clearfield, she wed Ronald Rowles, who preceded her in death on August 8, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister Donna Good and 2 brothers William Gerald and Raymond Good.
Surviving are two daughters Cheryl Pry and husband Dave and Patty Martell and husband Kevin both of Curwensville, four grandchildren Tricia, Sonja, Marlene and Ronnie and ten great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters Judy Good and JoAnn “Annie” Condon both of Clearfield and three brothers John N. Good of Reynoldsville, James “Jim” Good and wife Janet Marie of Princess Anna, MD and Ronald Good and wife Amy of Woodland.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Rowles will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday May 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend David Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in the Thompson Cemetery in Glen Richey, PA.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday May 5 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and again on Saturday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
