Obituary for Mary Alice Rolley Williams
Mary Alice Rolley Williams, 90, of Olanta, passed away Friday January 25, 2013 at her residence.
Born October 18, 1922 in Kerr Addition, Lawrence Township, she was the daughter of James E. and Geraldine V. (Luzier) Condon. Mrs. Williams had been an Operating Room Technician at the Altoona Hospital for 14 years, and was this area’s Tupperware Manager for 15 years. She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church where she participated in the Choir and the “Search for Peace” Pageant and was a member of the GFWC Woman’s Club of Curwensville.
She first wed Bernard A. Rolley who preceded her in death in 1971. She then wed Harry R. Williams who also preceded her in death. In addition she was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters Berniece Rushinski and Vema Palmer.
Surviving are 6 children: Judith White and husband Dennis of Clearfield, Edna Beatty of Olanta, James B. Rolley of Doylestown, Bernadette Lewis and husband Terry Betts of Forksville, Cheryl Smith of Altoona and Yvette Kaufman and husband William of DeBeque, CO.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great granddaughters and 5 brothers and sisters. Cecil Condon and wife Sara and Carl Condon and wife Joan both of Clearfield, Lester Condon and wife Jean of Lewisburg, Verlee Turner and husband Les of Brookville, and Dennis Condon and wife Linda of Clymer, NY.
At the request of Mrs. Williams there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Curwensville United Methodist Church 602 State St. Curwensville on Saturday June 22, 2013 at 12 Noon.
