Obituary for Mary Ann Bassaro
Mary Ann Bassaro, 78, of Marlton, NJ and formerly of Clearfield, passed away Sunday November 20, 2022, at the Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ.
Born November 26, 1943, in Carnwath, Clearfield County, PA, she was the daughter of Alex and Anna (Franchock) Pollick. Mrs. Bassaro was retired as an Administrative Assistant with the Clearfield Home Health Agency. She was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield, PA.
She wed Robert Thomas Bassaro who survives along with two daughters: Brenda Sheridan and husband James Jr. of Marlton, NJ and Christine Brandt and husband Ken of Voorhees, NJ as well as four grandchildren, one great grandchild and two siblings. Robert and Mary Ann recently celebrated their 57th anniversary this past July.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield on Saturday November 26, 2022, at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Father Robert Horgas as Celebrant. Private interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery of Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. * Sixteen N. Front Street * Clearfield, PA on Friday November 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
