Mary E. Neeper
Curwensville: Mary E. Neeper 82 of Hyde, passed away Wednesday February 1, 2023 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 29, 1940 in Curwensville she was the daughter of LeRoy and Alice (Shaffer) Rader. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Curwensville. She was a lifetime member of Hyde Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. And retired from Bayer Clothing/Target Sportswear after 20 years of service.
On October 1, 1959 she wed the late Howard E. Neeper who preceded her in death on July 27, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Jess E. Neeper, a grandson Shawn, brothers Charles, and Henry Rader, and an infant brother.
She is survived 4 children twins Ronald L. Neeper (Polly) of Clearfield and Randal L. Neeper of Curwensville, Theresa Treantafellou of Clearfield, Robert L. Neeper and wife Cindy of Hyde. A daughter in law Marcie Neeper-Hoover (James) of Hyde. 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
She was the last member of her generation.
Funeral Services for Mary Neeper will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday February 6, 2023 at 3 PM with Pastor Jared Ballou officiating. Interment will be held in the Center Cemetery at a later date.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Monday from 1 PM until the time of services at 3 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hyde Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 246 Hyde, PA 16843.
