Obituary for Mary McHenry Walker
Mary McHenry Walker, 89, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday
January 19, 2021 at the Elmcroft of Altoona Senior Living and Personal
Care Home in Duncansville.
Born July 4, 1931 in LeContes Mills, she was the daughter of Philmore B.
and Esther (Miller) McHenry.
Surviving are her five children, nine grandchildren and one
great-grandchild: Susan Bevington and husband Tom of Salida and
their children Tyler and wife Randi and great-granddaughter, Josephine
of Arvada and Emily of Denver, CO; Diann Campolong of Hollidaysburg,
PA; Gregory Campolong and wife Lorriane and their children Hunter and
Chase of Lutz, FL; Mark P. Campolong and wife Michelle and their
expected daughter, Gabriella from Jensen Beach, FL and his children
Ryan and Marissa of Biglerville, PA; and Brian Campolong and wife Susie
and their children Travis and Leah of South Park, PA.
Also surviving are her two stepsons: Craig Walker and wife Holly and
their daughter Brittni of Clearfield; and Curtis Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James A. Walker
whom she wed on June 16, 1991; two sisters Eugenia Leitzinger and
Priscilla Wilson; and two brothers Thomas and William McHenry.
She was the last member of her generation.
At the request of Mrs. Walker, there will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Service will be conducted after Covid restrictions are lifted.
Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Frenchville.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield
County Area Agency on Aging * 600 Cooper Road * Curwensville, PA or the Shaw Public Library * 1 S. Front Street * Clearfield, PA 16830.
