Curwensville: M. Susan Westcott, 78, of Grampian passed away Friday February 20, 2026 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 3, 1947 in Clearfield she was the daughter of Donald and Helen (Chelgren) Hepburn. She had worked a Beckwith Machine as a secretary in the parts department for over 40 years.
She was member of the former St. Paul United Methodist Church in Grampian where she was very active, she was in the choir, taught Sunday School, was a member of the United Methodist Women, and with the youth fellowship. She was also very active in the community, she served as chairperson of Grampian Days, and helped with Grampian Bible School. She was a member of the Grampian Band, and the Community Choir.
Surviving are three children: Tammy Fry (Aaron) of Grampian, John M. Westcott III of Clearfield, and Donald A. Westcott (Tricia) of DuBois. Five grandchildren: Kyle Westcott, Alexandra Bennett, Martina Watson (Joel), Bryce Walk (Erica), Ty Walk (Jessie). Five great grandchildren: Blake, Bailey, Beau, Bella, and Bennett.
Two sisters Elaine Elensky (Kenneth) of Grampian, and Donna Lykens (Lee) of Clearfield. And numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John M. Westcott Jr., and her sister Janice Bloom.
Funeral services for Susan Westcott will be held at the Grampian Church of Faith 6th St. Grampian on Monday March 2, 2026 at 11 AM with Rev. Rick Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Friends Cemetery Grampian.
Family and friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Sunday March 1, 2026 from 4-7 PM. And on Monday at the church from 10 AM till the time of services at 11 AM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, 300 State Street, Curwensville, PA 16833.
