Obituary for MaryAnn Ciamacco
MaryAnn Ciamacco, 79, of DuBois, passed away Saturday morning December 29, 2012 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born October 17, 1933 in Port Carbon, PA, she was the daughter of Michael T. and Florence Rose (Purin) Sura. Mrs. Ciamacco had been employed at the Hampton Inn of DuBois and retired from there. She had attended St. Joseph and St. Michaels Roman Catholic Churches while living in DuBois.
She wed Joseph Ciamacco on June 20, 1953 and who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Joseph Monroe Ciamacco, a granddaughter Michelle Ciamacco, a brother Edward Sura and a step brother Sonny Dalton.
Surviving is a son Michael Ciamacco and wife Florie of Curwensville, 6 grandchildren Josie Georgiana and husband Chris, Mickey Ciamacco and fiancee Melissa, Max Ciamacco and wife Cammy, Joey Ciamacco and wife Cara, Holly Dodds and husband Drew, and Robert Ciamacco, 5 great grandchildren Taitlyn, Kaceton and Lane Ciamacco, and Joely and Gabriel Georgiana and a sister Dolores “Dolly” Yushko and husband Edward of Fredricksburg, VA.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 10 AM, with the Reverend Father Mark J. Mastrian as celebrant. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park Hyde, PA
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday evening January 4 from 6 to 8 PM.
The family suggests contributions be made to either the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Memphis, TN or the charity of the donor’s choice.
