Obituary for Menno Horst (Shorty) Ebersole
Menno H. “Shorty” Ebersole, 83, a guest of Knickerbocker Villa in Clearfield, and formerly of Hyde, passed away Tuesday evening August 14, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center in DuBois.
Born March 2, 1929 in Franklin County, PA, he was the son of Amos Kauffman and Anna Eshleman (Horst) Ebersole. Mr. Ebersole was a retired truck driver and was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are three children Shane Ebersole of Philipsburg, Melinda Barrett and husband Tom of Ford City, and Jason Ebersole of Hyde. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Devin, Jeremy, and Shawn, and 2 brothers and a sister. David H. Ebersole, Leroy H. Ebersole, and Susan Ebersole all of Franklin County, PA
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary, and brothers John, Amos, and Paul.
There will be no public visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
