Altoona: Mildred R. Darmiento, 78 of Curwensville passed away Monday August 20, 2012 at Altoona Regional Medical Center.
Born October 2, 1933 in Philipsburg she was the daughter of George and Carrie (Vaughn) Vail. She was a homemaker. She was a social member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co., Curwensville Moose Lodge #268, Clearfield VFW #1785, and Curwensville Veterans Association.Â
She is survived by a son John J. Darmiento Jr. of Curwensville, granddaughter Kasi Ann Tozer of Clearfield, and a sister Joan Peters and her husband Calvin of Wallaceton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Darmeinto, daughter Janet Piercey, and a brother George Vail.
Visitation for Mildred Darmiento will held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Sunday August 26, 2012 from 6-8 PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in care of the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc, 300 State Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
