Obituary for Patricia Dotts Whitaker
Patricia Dotts Whitaker, 80, of Philipsburg, and formerly of Curwensville and Clearfield, passed away Thursday October 13, 2022 at her residence.
Born May 3, 1942 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Lamoyne and Thelma (Rounds) Dotts. Mrs. Whitaker was a homemaker, and had worked for the former Kents Sportswear in Curwensville.
Patricia was a splendid soul, and was the most caring and kindest mother and will be dearly missed by all of her family.
She had wed Joseph O. Whitaker who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughters Bonnie and Rhonda Whitaker, and six brothers: Duke, Sam, Milford, Dick, Tim, and infant David.
Surviving are 5 sons: Stephen Whitaker, Thomas Whitaker and wife LeeAnn, and Patrick Whitaker all of Philipsburg, Charles Dewey Dotts and wife Debbie of Glen Richey, and Joseph Whitaker of Clearfield.
Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a sister Gloria Barrett and husband John of Curwensville.
Graveside Services for Patricia Whitaker will be held in the McClure Cemetery * 8961 Lumber City Highway * Curwensville, PA 16833 on Thursday October 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
