Obituary for Patricia Gail Bloom
Patricia Gail Bloom, 80, of New Millport, passed away Saturday morning November 6, 2021 at the home of her son Michael in Clearfield after a lengthy illness.
Born February 6, 1941 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Jeanne (Wisor) Neal. Mrs. Bloom was a homemaker.
She was a member of the former Salem Lutheran Church in New Millport where she had played organ and piano and had also played organ on several occasions at both the Olanta Lutheran Church and the Grace Lutheran Church in Curwensville. She was a member and past secretary of the Kerrmoor Grange, was involved with the New Millport annual picnic, and also had been a substitute aid in the Curwensville Area School District. She was currently attending the Olanta Lutheran Church
On February 21, 1960 she wed Terry L. Bloom who survives along with 6 children:
Paula J. Thorp and husband Chris of Hepburnia, Michael V. Bloom and wife Gwen of Clearfield, Gary L. Bloom and wife Kim of Mooresville, NC, Susan G. Kephart and husband Doug Sr. of Glen Richey, Jason L. Bloom and wife Tess of Julian, and Daniel A. Bloom and wife Susie of Bowling Green, OH. Also surviving are Thirteen Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Patricia Bloom will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Kathie Ann Pearcy, officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery in New Millport.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday November 9, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Olanta Lutheran Church.
