Obituary for Peter Malinky
Peter Malinky, 89, of Clearfield, passed away Friday Morning, February 19, 2010 at the Knickerbocker Villa in Clearfield.
He was born in Kellytown, Pa on May 5, 1920 the son of Max and Elizabeth (Siemen) Malinky.         Â

He served in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS Bailey and was a life member of the VFW Post 842 of Curwensville. Mr. Malinky worked in the coalfields of West-Central Pa for many years.
Pete was predeceased by his parents, his wife the former Grace-Ellen (McCracken) in 1992 and a son Peter Jr. in 1972.Â
He is survived by his daughter Mona Dolan and husband Frank of Hyde, Pa and sons Franklin Malinky and wife Noy of Dover, De; Jeffrey Malinky and wife Marcelle of West Gardiner, Me, and James Malinky of Augusta, Me; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery at a later date.
There will be no public visitation.
