DuBois: Phyllis R. Dunlap 92, of Curwensville passed away Friday March 31, 2023 at Christ the King Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
Born January 9, 1931 in Woodward Township she was the daughter of Desmond M. and Lorna A. (Baughman) Rowles.
She had worked for Kents Sportswear and retired from Clearfield Cheese Plant. She was a former member of the Eastern Star in Rochester NY.
She is survived by 2 Sons Marlin Dean Dunlap (Gwen) Punxsutawney, Harry E. Dunlap of Bells Landing. 4 grandsons, 3 step granddaughters, 11 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren. A sister Donna Condon (Tom) of Olanta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marlin G. “Bunk” Dunlap, a sister Roberta Jacobson, a brother Dennis Rowles and a great grandson Caleb Dunlap.
Funeral Services will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc of Curwensville on Tuesday April 4 at 3 PM with Mr. Gary Jewart officiating. Interment will be held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 PM till the time of services at 3 PM.
