Obituary for R. George Robison
R. George Robison, 66, of Curwensville, passed away Tuesday March 8, 2011 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh.
Born August 8, 1944 in Clearfield, he was the son of George and Lenore (Bailor) Robison. Mr. Robison was a Naval Veteran of the Vietnam War, was retired from Keystone Builders as a mason, and also had cooked at the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785. He was a member of the Curwensville American legion Post #505 and the Clearfield VFW Post 1785.
Surviving are 3 children Robert Scott Robison of Brookville, Jennifer L. Ross and her husband Ray of Sigel, and Michael Robison of the Pocono’s, a grandson Shane Ross, and three brothers. Howard Robison and his wife Betty and Kenneth Robison and his wife Linda both of Clearfield, and Russell Robison and his wife Shirley of Jacksonville, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At the request of Mr. Robison there will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Graveside Service at the Bigler Cemetery in Bigler, PA, will be held at a later date.
