Ralph E. Bortot Jr.
Clearfield: Ralph E. Bortot Jr. 75, of Clearfield passed away Sunday April 30, 2023 at his residence after a short illness.
Born December 14, 1947 in Curwensville he was the son of Ralph E. and Ruth (Howell) Bortot Sr. He had worked for Harbison Walker as an equipment operator and transported parts for Pmac Auto a division of Ford in Harrisburg until his retirement.
On August 26, 1978 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Clearfield he wed Alice Hallstrom Bortot who survives of Clearfield along with 3 children Jason Gregg (Krista) of Coalport, Heather McBride Kirby (James) Clarksburg, VA, and Randi Bortot Peters (Jeffrey) of Clearfield. 7 grandchildren Tori Gregg, Tristian Gregg, Tara Gregg, Storm Kirby, Hunter Kirby, Chase Bell, and Landen Peters. Brother Gary Bortot of Curwensville, Sister Sandra Barnes of Ohio. He is also survived by his in-laws Dave and Marianne Hallstrom, as well as brother in-law Greg Hallstrom (Allison) and sister in-law Ingrid Price (Jamie) all of Clearfield. And numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Tyler Kirby.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
