Randall S. “Randy” Thurstin
Curwensville: Randall S. “Randy” Thurstin, 64, of Curwensville passed away Sunday July 5, 2026.
Born September 16, 1961 in Clearfield he was the son of John W. “Jack” and Shirley (Marshall) Thurstin. He was a 1981 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. Randy had worked for Baxter Trucking and was a Truck driver for many years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Curwensville. He was also a member of the Brady Hunting Camp, and Christian Motorcycles Association.
On October 4, 1997 he wed Cheri (Thomas) Thurstin who survives of Curwensville, along with a sister Michelle Chalker (Scott) of Binghamton, NY, and a brother Joseph Thurstin (Darby), of Wellsboro, PA. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Marcia Thurstin.
Funeral Services will be held at the Curwensville United Methodist Church on Thursday July 9, 2026 at 12 Noon with Rev. John White officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Family and friends will be received at the church from 11 AM till the time of services at 12 Noon on Thursday July 9, 2026.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville United Methodist Church, 602 State Street, Curwensville, PA 16833 or the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
