Obituary for Regina Rubbe
Regina Q. Rubbe, 100, of Curwensville, passed away Sunday October 28, 2012 at her residence.
 
Born September 6, 1912 in Apollo, Armstrong County, PA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Victoria (Dessippi) Durandetta.  Mrs. Rubbe was a homemaker and was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
 
In Curwensville, in the fall of 1931, she wed Pasquale “Pucky” Rubbe, who preceded her in death on July 3, 1973.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son and daughter in law James and Mona Rubbe, 3 brothers Michael, Joseph, and William, and a sister Josephine.  She was the last member of her generation
 
Surviving is a son William Rubbe and his wife Corrine of Clearfield, 6 grandchildren; Joseph Rubbe and his friend Kimberly Guelich of Curwensville, Chris Rubbe and his wife Karen of Clearfield, Shane Rubbe and his wife Nicole of Pittsburgh, David Rubbe of Johnstown, Michael Rubbe of Altoona, and Ann Marie Rubbe of New York City as well as 5 great grandchildren.
 
Public Funeral Services for Mrs. Rubbe will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Wednesday October 31, 2012 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Dr. Robert Ludrowsky officiating.  Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
 
There will be no public visitation
 
The family suggests contributions be made to the Curwensville United Methodist Church 602 State Street Curwensville, PA 16833.
