Obituary for Richard A. Greendoner
Richard A. Greendoner, 61, of Stronach, passed away Wednesday May 20, 2015 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born October 15, 2015 in Lock Haven, PA, he was the son of Richard F. and Martha Edna (Nihart) Greendoner. Mr. Greendoner had been employed by Target/Bayer Clothing Group in the shipping department for over 29 years, and after that had worked in Maintenance for both County National Bank and Central Pennsylvania Community Action in Clearfield.
He was a Life Member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. in Curwensville, and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union Local #118C.
On August 21, 1982 in Curwensville, he wed the former Roberta “Robin” Bollinger who survives along with a son Anthony Greendoner of Greensburg, a sister Sue Ellen Friberg of DuBois, a sister-in-law Constance Greendoner of Hockessin, DE, an Uncle Clyde Greendoner of Curwensville, an Aunt Donna Greendoner of Mill Hall, along with3 nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Michael B. Greendoner.
There will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Services for Richard Greendoner will be conducted at the West Branch Meeting Religious Society of Friends Meeting House in Grampian, on Saturday May 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM.
The Family suggests contributions be made to either the Orphans of the Storm 412 Hill St Curwensville, PA 16833, the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. 408-410 Filbert Street Curwensville, PA 16833, or the Central Clearfield County Relay for Life 26 S. 2nd Street Clearfield, PA 16830.
