Clearfield: Richard J. Davies Jr. 73, of New Millport passed away Sunday June 9, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital.

Born December 11, 1939 in Delaware County he was the son of Richard J. and Kathryn E. (Vandling) Davies Sr. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He had worked for Septa Philadelphia Transportation as a bus driver, and also was a retired state constable.

On July 2, 1966Â he wed Nancy Hallman who survives along with 6 children William Davies, Karen Scurlock, Joseph Davies, John Davies, Nancy Mayro, and Richard J. Davies III. 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Sister Patricia Levin and her husband Alvin of Jenkintown, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Kathryn Ritter.

At the request of Mr. Davies there will be no public viewing. A public memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
