Obituary for Rickey Ray Cowfer Sr.
Rickey Ray Cowfer Sr., 64, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
Born June 25, 2018 in Osceola Mills, he was the son of Russell and Erma (Thompson) Cowfer. Mr. Cowfer had been a coal miner.
On March 20, 1970 he wed the former Deborah J. Saggese who survives along with two children. Tracey Cowfer pf Clearfield and Russell Cowfer of Huntingdon. Also surviving are three grandchildren and 3 siblings. Russell Cowfer Jr. and wife Patricia of North Carolina, Louise Vaughn of Tyrone and George Cowfer and wife Kathy of North Carolina
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Rickey Cowfer Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service for Rickey Cowfer Sr., will be he held at the Christ United Methodist Church, East 7th and Dorey Streets Clearfield, on Saturday April 14, 2018 at 4:00 PM with Pastor David Lance officiating. There will be a gathering in the church’s social hall immediately following the service.
Interment will be in the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
