Obituary for Robert M. McCullough

Curwensville: Robert Merle McCullough, 92, of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation in Curwensville.
Born August 31, 1923 in Brookville, he was the son of Irl D. and Rhoda (Grantz) McCullough.  He retired after 30 years of service from G.E. Erie Plant in the Parts Department and also was a locksmith.
He was a member of the Community Baptist Church of Curwensville and also had attended the Zion Baptist Church in Ansonville.  He volunteered at Ridgeview Elder Care for over 20 years and enjoyed Blue Grass music.
He is survived by 2 step children Harry L. “Squeak” Fink and his wife Lilly of Curwensville, Sandra K. Fink and her companion Paul Zendek of Curwensville.
Also surviving are 4 step grandchildren Janette Lynn Fernandez, Jason Raymond Fink and his wife Nissa, Jared L. Fink, and Katrina L. Fink, 4 Step Great Grandchidlren Paige Fink, Jessica Fernandez, Katelyn Rose Fink, and Savannah Fink, and 2 sisters Ruby M. Coffman and Margaret I. Coffman, and a sister-in-law Charlotte McCullough all of Erie.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothea Blanche McCullough on June 25, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother Charles O. McCullough and a sister Helen A. Canter.
Funeral Services for Mr. McCullough will be held at the Community Baptist Church of Curwensville on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM, with the Reverend Todd T. Hogue, officiating.  Interment will be in the Watts Cemetery, Redden Hill, Bells Landing.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday February 19 from 5 to 8 PM, and again on Saturday from Noon to 1 PM at the church.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Patient Activities Fund of Ridgeview Elder Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 30 4th Avenue Curwensville, PA 16833.
