Obituary for Robert M. Moore
Robert M. Moore, 84, of the Greenville Pike, Grampian passed away Monday December 26, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.
 
Born January 1, 1927 in Pike Township, he was the son of James I. and Ida (Marshall) Moore.  Mr. Moore was an electrician having worked for and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.  He was also a member of Noble Lodge #480 F. & A. M. Curwensville, the Coudersport Consistory, and the Jaffa Shrine of Altoona.
 
He also had served with the Merchant Marines and was a member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. in Curwensville and the Curwensville VFW.
 
In 1948, he wed the former Maida Condon in Cumberland, MD, who survives along with 5 children.  David R. Moore and his wife Mary Ann of Richmond, VA, Gary M. Moore of Grampian, Dennis K. Moore of Windsor, OH, Scott J. Moore and his wife Linda of Rockton, and Patricia L. Moore of Lombard, IL.  Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He was the last member of his generation.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Moore.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Moore will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Friday December 30, 2011 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor David A. Baker officiating.  Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 PM until time of services at 3.  Masonic Memorial Services will be conducted by Noble Lodge #480, Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
 
The family suggests contributions be made to the Greenville Church of the Brethren Greenville Pike Grampian, PA 16838
