Obituary for Rob Bressler
Robert Willis “Rob” Bressler Jr., 50, of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday January 5, 2022 at Penn Highlands Hospital DuBois.
Born, June 12, 1971 in Clearfield, he was the son of Robert W. Bressler Sr. and Gloria (Yarwasky) Bressler Crawshaw. Mr. Bressler had served with the USMC in military transport during Operation Desert Storm before receiving his Honorable Discharge due to medical reasons. He had also done some work in construction.
He was affiliated with Faith Connections in Clearfield, was a member of the Old Town Sportsmen Association and was involved with numerous organizations that dealt with Organ and Tissue transplants.
On July 19, 1991 he wed the former Tammy Jo Fetters who preceded him in death on April 27, 2021. He was also preceded in death by a brother Barry Bressler.
Surviving is his mother and stepfather Joe Crawshaw of Lancaster, his father and stepmother Linda Bressler of Morrisdale, a son Damion Bressler of Curwensville, a daughter Alesia Mencer and husband Daniel of Clearfield, three grandchildren: James, Arianna and Kaylee Mencer; two sisters and a brother: Toni Rowles and husband Fred of Clearfield, Patti Maier of Lancaster, and Steve Bressler of New Millport as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Rob Bressler will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday January 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Brenda Liberatore officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday January 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 1:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM
Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by members of the Clearfield Honor Guard.
