Obituary for Roberta Jacqueline (Bobbie) Gill

Roberta Jacqueline “Bobbie” Gill, 67, of New Millport passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 at her residence.
 
Born May 7, 1949 in Strongstown, PA, she was the daughter of Albert and Gertie (Pope) Pennington.  Mrs. Gill had been the manager of both the Clearfield and Reynoldsville Dollar General Stores until her retirement.  She was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Mahaffey VFW.
 
On January 14, 1967 she wed Ronald J. Gill who survives along with 4 children: Christine Uncles of Hyde, Ronald Gill and wife Karen of Curwensville, Rick Gill and wife Laura of Ginter, and Candice Bayer and husband Keith of New Millport.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren: Zoey and Hannah Uncles; Katelyn, Alissa, Emma and Ethan Gill; R. J. McKenzie; Nora Gill; and Lilly Bayer as well as several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Thomas Pennington and a son-in-law Tracy Uncles.
 
Funeral Services for Bobbie Gill will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend George Cannon officiating.  Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery New Millport. 
 
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday July 6, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM, and again on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services.
 
The family suggests contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
