Obituary for Roger James Thurston
Roger James Thurston, 40, of New Millport passed away Wednesday January 26, 2011 at his residence.
Born January 5, 1971 in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of Roger Stanley and Betty Lorraine (Irwin) Thurston. Mr. Thurston was most recently employed by Dollar General in Curwensville and preciously was employed Sears in Clearfield and DuBois. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in New Millport.
Surviving are his parents of New Millport, 4 children Israel Rain Thurston of Curwensville, and Lindsay Nicole Thurston, Cecelia Pearl Thurston and Ethan James Luzier all of Clearfield. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents Stanley and Wilna (McGarvey) Thurston and his maternal grandparents James J. and Ina Pearl (Proud) Irwin.
Funeral Services for Mr. Thurston will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery, New Millport.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
