Obituary for Ruth Olive Flynn
Ruth Olive Flynn, 88, of Grampian, passed away Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born December 16, 1922 in Chestnut Grove, Bloom Township, she was the daughter of Larry F. and Ethel H. (Smith) Gelnett.  Mrs. Flynn was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Grampian, and was a homemaker.
She was wed to Richard C. Flynn who survives along with 2 children Richard A. Flynn and Debra Lee Flynn both of Grampian. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Charles and Blainanne Flynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Maxine Centra, and 2 brothers Burdette and Elmer Gelnett. She was the last member of her generation.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Flynn will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Friday December 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Emmett Anderson, officiating. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery Grampian RD.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday December 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and Friday from 10 AM until the time of services.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Orphans of the Storm c/o 412 Hill Street Curwensville, PAÂ 16833.
