Obituary for Sandra J. Anderson
Sandra J. Anderson, 64, a resident of Colonial Courtyard in Clearfield, and formerly of Philipsburg and Clearfield, passed away Thursday August 5, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born December 20, 1945 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of James and Emily (Rogers) Carter. Mrs. Anderson had worked for Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield as a nurses aid for 22 years. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ in Clearfield.
On June 21, 1959 in Philipsburg, she wed George I. Anderson who survives along with 2 daughters, Sherry Ireland of Curwensville and Bobbi Martin of New York. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, a sister Norma Grove of Port Matilda and 2 brothers Robert and James Carter both of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Anderson will be held at the West Side Church of Christ 219 Merrill Street Clearfield, on Wednesday August 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Isaiah Krause officiating.
