Sara I. Draucker
Curwensville: Sara Irene “Sally” Milligan Draucker, 102, a guest of Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville and formerly of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2016 at Ridgeview.
Born October 24, 1913 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Earl and Edith (Way) McFadden. Mrs. Draucker had first worked for the former Hosiery Mill/Parachute Factory on Curwensville and then operated the Milligan Dress Shop first in Curwensville and later in Clearfield. She was a member of the Clearfield Presbyterian Church and had both bowled and sponsored her own bowling team in the Curwensville Leagues.
Surviving is a stepson John Draucker of Woodland and 2 step grandsons as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished.
She was the last member of her generation.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Milford Milligan, and her second husband John Draucker. Brothers Harold Beany McFadden, Scott McFadden, and sister Ruth Goodman and an infant sister Marie McFadden.
A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield Presbyterian Church, 119 N. 2nd St., Clearfield, PA 16830
