Born April 11, 1915 in Grampian, she was the daughter of Winfield Scott and Mary (Whitman) Caldwell. Mrs. Albright had been employed in the cutting room of the former MacGregor Sportswear and retired after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church, a former member of the Rhoda Rebekah Lodge, had volunteered at the Clearfield Hospital for 17 years and had been a RSVP volunteer at the Clearfield County Historical Society.
She had wed Dale Albright who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Evelyn Harley and Blanche Caldwell; eight brothers Winfield, James, Boyd, Doyle, Ord, Drexel, Carl and Paul; and a niece Marie Bloom. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are a son Robert Jones of Phoenix, AZ and a daughter Paula Rae and husband Dr. William McHenry of Edinboro, three stepchildren Dale Albright of Arizona, Kay Gipson and husband Wayne of Texas and Brenda Soares of California.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Lisa Walker and husband Chris, Linda Will and husband Dr. Brad and Dr. William McHenry II and wife Missy; nine great grandchildren: Nicholas, Jacob and Alexa Walker; Ryan and Ian Will; and Meghan, Billy, Katie and Shane McHenry; as well as numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Turner will be held at the Curwensville United Methodist Church 602 State Street Curwensville on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.
Friends will be received at the Chester C. Chidhoy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday April 17 from 5 to 8 PM and Tuesday at the church from 10 AM until time of services at 11:00- AM
