Obituary for Shawn Anthony Demko
Shawn Anthony Demko, 32, of Clearfield, passed away early Monday morning November 21, 2011 at the Altoona Regional Medical Center, Altoona Hospital Campus.
 
Born October 21, 1979 in Clearfield, he was the son of Timothy Demko and Pamela Vallery.  He had attended the Faith Bible Church in Lumber City.  He was a member of the Clearfield Eagles, the Clearfield S.O.I., and the L.O.O.M. Morrisdale.
 
On September 24, 2005 he wed the former Sandra M. Guthrie who survives along with a son Jordan Demko of Curwensville, 2 stepsons Zachary A. Guthrie and Justin C. Waring both of Clearfield, his maternal grandparents Peter and Evelyn Vallery of Clearfield, and a brother Justin Demko.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his paternal grandparents John and Helen Demko.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Demko will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc., Curwensville, on Saturday November 26, 2011 at 3:00 PM, with the Reverend Scott Schultz officiating.  Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, PA.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 PM until time of services.
 
Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
