Obituary for Shelly Ann Hoyt
Shelly Ann Hoyt, 43, of Curwensville, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021.
Born January 22, 1978, she was the daughter of James Hoyt, Sr. and Kathleen (Hye) Hoyt of Curwensville.
Ms. Hoyt was most recently the co-owner & office manager of a contracting company in New Bethlehem, PA, but had spent many years working in the executive assistant/human resources role for companies like Uber, UPMC, Meakem-Becker Venture Capital, Miller Welding and Abbott Furnace in the western PA/Pittsburgh area.
She was a 1996 graduate of Curwensville Area High School and attended Lock Haven University, Clearfield Campus.
She is survived by her father; brother James Hoyt, Jr. and wife Jeanne of Curwensville; two nieces; aunt Gretchen Dunlap and husband Mike of Olanta; aunt Maxine (Mickey) Hoyt of Woodland; and aunt Coreen Hoyt of Kane.
She was preceded in death by her mother, paternal grandmother Geraldine Hoyt, and uncle Donald (Nester) Hoyt.
A private burial service was held Friday, August 6 for immediate family at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Olanta.
