Obituary for Sherman Leslie Coudriet
Sherman Leslie Coudriet 64, of Curwensville passed away June 19, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born July 4, 1953 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of Sherman W. and Mary Jane (Ogden) Coudriet. He was employed by Kurtz Brothers. in Clearfield for over 40 years where he worked in the pressing department, shipping department, and retired as the Warehouse Manager. He had been a member of the G.I.C Union Local 493 Clearfield.
On June 7, 1980 in Clearfield he wed the former Nancy L. Hamilton who survives along with his mother Mary Jane Coudriet of Clearfield; 2 sons Mark Coudriet and his wife Duean of Sacramento, California, and Chester M Fletcher and his wife Lisa of Clearfield; 3 grandchildren Eric Fletcher Brett Fletcher, and Jonna Garcia and her husband Nicholas; 2 great grandchildren Lucas and Felix Garcia; and a brother Richard “Dick” Coudriet and his wife Shirley of Clearfield.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter Shannon L. Fletcher
Funeral Services for Mr. Coudriet will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 11:00 am with Reverend Todd T. Hogue officiating. Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, New Millport.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday June 22, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and again on Saturday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association 44 Liberty Avenue Suite #1300 Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
