Obituary for Shirley Ann McKee
Shirley Ann McKee, 73, of Olanta, passed away Sunday May 9, 2021 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born September 15, 1947 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of William and Margaret (Folmar) Harris. Shirley had first work for the former Kent’s Sportswear of Curwensville, then she was the co-owner and Business Manager of McKee Carbide Tool in Bloomington. She also was a member of the Olanta Lutheran Church.
On October 4, 1980 in Clearfield, she wed John E. McKee who survives along with 2 sons: Steve Clark and wife Tammy of Olanta and Craig Clark of Butler. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Lynn, Jessica, and Stephany; and seven great grandchildren: Alexis, Makenzee, Nehemiah, Skyla, Cyrus, Molly, and Oliver.
In addition, she is survived by a sister and four brothers: Eleanor McConnel, Kenneth Harris, Robert Harris, Daniel Harris, and Roy Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Holly Queen; three sisters Irene, Ruby, and Margaret (Peggy); and three brothers William, Richard Sr., and James.
Funeral Services for Shirley McKee will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Todd Hogue, officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday May 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.
